Something about the holiday season..

I love this time of year with a passion.. Even if I happen to be going through a rough season during the holidays; I always find that people are generally kinder than usual. It feels like a warm hug when strangers are sociable in passing—it’s just nice to see humanity shine through when we’re constantly bombarded with bad, scary news on a regular basis.

I don’t even necessarily have to be celebrating Thanksgiving or Christmas to really appreciate the holidays. Just the overall mood and energy of everyone around you as you go about your days always brings a smile to my face. The “Happy Holidays” for the next several weeks, enjoying hot chocolate, reminiscing on how previous holidays were spent, and planning for the current year.. and sometimes- the not planning.. I love the chaos of it all. 😊

This year I’m thankful for being bold in my creative pursuits and knowing that God has emboldened me to keep at them. And of course, to segue off that, I am so extremely happy with my growing faith and how much I prioritized quality time with God this year. #HappyHolidays #HappyThanksgiving #MerryChristmas
